As Americans we enjoy so many freedoms that most are taken for granted. No matter the privileges we're afforded they all come at the expense of another's sacrifice. Such courageousness, effort, and resilience must never go underappreciated.
Given our own personal struggles and scarcity of resources, we understand the challenges of our veterans. With a new perception of life, the men of Chapter 1013 sought a means to be a supportive force in helping Michigan's veterans.
Working in connection with Justin Counts of Jackson Strength Network and the Community Action Agency in the city of Jackson, on August 6, 2025 we were able to continue making positive impacts in the communities across our state.
Knowing the difficulties that accompany peer pressure, cultural influences, and adverse childhood experiences, it's a necessity to help guide the youth aright. As a Chapter who embodies the process of transformation we openly uphold such a responsibility. Given our past choices we made certain to deter the youth in Detroit from the attraction of criminal activity in all its forms.
On July 26th the Street's Ain't Cool became a foundational pillar which Michigan's citizens may rely upon. This event is intended to save lives, make our communities safer, prevent crime, and end cycles of victimization. The effort of every one involved highlighted the importance of the village approach and demonstrates how valuable our impact actually is. This is just the beginning of our efforts.
On May 14, 2025 we highlighted just how much of an asset one may be once he transforms the manner of his thinking. In connection with the women from Zion Chapel Church the men of Chapter 1013 compassionately provided assistance to those in need. This act of care demonstrates the consistency necessary when fighting for redemption.
The efforts of this Chapter are far reaching and the sincerity of our approach is proven in the sentiments of those whom we uplift.
.In furthering our efforts to positively impact victims and the communities of Michigan, Chapter 1013 demonstrated compassion by building a bridge with the Naomi Davis Home in Coldwater, Michigan.
On March 7, 2025, through our liaison CPC Chad Poynter, we hand delivered $500 worth of Irish Spring Soaps, Colgate Toothpastes, V05 Shampoos and Conditioners, as well as Lady Speed Stick Deodorants in support of those in need. This caring act was also enhanced by a financial donation of $2,500 made to the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence in connection with the PBF at Lakeland and Director Kym Hemker.
We are incarcerated men who dare change the mold by changing our mindset and providing the care which our communities need.

On november the 2nd we partnered with the Charles Newell Investment Group Llc to celebrate womanhood and the achievements of leaders within the community.
This is an effort on our behalf to demonstrate accountability and uplift deserving citizens.

On September 7 we partnered with The Charles Newell Investment Group LLC, Unity Baptist Church, and Henderson Acadamey to support the youth in Detroit. As individuals who know how essential positive influence is in the lives of the youth, our chapter sets the standard. We intend to remain a constant sign of encouragement and ask that any individual or organization join us in our efforts. Chapter 1013 supports the advancement of the youth.
